Wedding Weekend

This weekend we celebrated two of our good friends wedding... Brandon and Hunter got married this past Saturday at the beautiful Scarritt Bennett Chapel and then we danced the night away at The Avenue in downtown Nashville. The wedding and reception were absolutely beautiful. We had such a great time celebrating their special day. Congrats Hunter and Brandon!

Club Champion

My hubby is OBSESSED with golf.  This weekend was the Men's Club Championship at our local country club. Sure enough he signed up and was ready to go. The first day he goes out and shoots a 68 and is tied for the lead. He was so excited! Today was the final round and I decided I would go out and cheer him on. Tyler played through his nerves and shot an amazing 69 to win the Championship by two. He was so happy, you couldn't wipe the smile off his face. All his hard work payed off and I could not be happier for him! It was such a beautiful day to be outside and spend time with friends and family aandd get some great pics along the way! I am so so proud of you babe! Congrats!!

What inspires me...
My little brother, Austin inspires me. We are seven years apart yet we are very close. He is one of my best friends. Austin has a fun, outgoing personality and never meets a stranger. He is kind-hearted and will do anything for everyone. A real southern gentlemen. Over the past few months he has gained a relationship with the Lord, got bapitized, and joined the church. I cannot even explain the happiness this brings me. My little brother is my everything. He is always there for me. The best memories I have of him is when we were little I loved ballet so I would dress him up and have ballet classes, he always played, never once told me no, I also loved playing school so he would be the best student I could ever ask for. As I went to college and played golf he always tagged along with Mom and Dad to be our team's mascot. Always cheering us on! Such a bundle of joy he is! He inspires me everyday to be the best person I can be, not to worry, to live one day at a time, and to live life to it's fullest. Austin is such an inspiration and I am truly blessed to call him my little brother Auddie!

19 years ago...

19 years ago today I was sitting in the hospital awaiting the arrival of my sweet baby brother. After hours of waiting, Austin James Dillard was born. My life had changed forever. I was now a big sister!

Happy Birthday Auddie! I cannot believe you are nineteen years old. Time has flown by! It feels like yesterday that I was sitting in the hospital room waiting anxiously on your arrival. I remember every minute of it, I was even the first one to hold you! You were the most precious little baby EVER! As you grew older I loved dressing you up, making you do ballet in the kitchen with me, playing grocery store and school. You never told me no. Watching you grow up and turn into the man you are today has been a blessing. You are the definition of a true gentlemen. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you! Keep your faith in HIM and you will accomplish anything you what. Happy Birthday! I love you so much and thank you for being the best little brother!!!
